- OBJECTIVES
-Indicate what the participant will be able to do at the conclusion of the activity. (Objectives must be measurable - see website, “Additional Resources” section, “Bloom’s Taxonomy” and “Writing Objectives” if guidance is needed – see link:
-An average of 1-2 objectives per hour is realistic.
-Objectives should be numbered sequentially.
- CONTENT
-Itemize key points that will be addressed with each objective.
-Content must be more than a restatement of the objective and must be congruent with the overall purpose (goal) of the educational activity and objective.
- METHODS
-List the methods, strategies, materials and resources to be used by faculty to cover each objective.
-The method used should be congruent with each objective and content.
