The 2013-14 BU Lacrosse Team would like to thank you for your participation in the Terrier Challenge & Clinic!!

  • All US Lacrosse safety measures must be followed; including mouth-guard and goggles!
  • Only 4 field players and 1 goalie may be on the field at one time.
  • Games are 4 minutes long, 6 minutes during playoffs.
  • Possession will change after a goal - this is NOT “make it take it.”
  • If there is a tie at the end of the game, a 1v1 “Braveheart” will take place. Bravehearts will start with a throw.
  • Substitution: sub on the fly. (*while on attack is good strategy)
  • All major and minor fouls will be called, fouling player will go 4 meters behind.
  • Goalies will remain behind the cage and switch as possession changes.
  • ** If a team is without a gk, the one will play for both teams or a BU keeper can be requested **
  • To clear the ball, you must run or pass it past the top of the 12-meter.
  • All spectators must stay off the field preferably in the Nickerson Stands
  • NO gum chewing or eating on the field.
  • A BU player will keep score on the field.
  • We will not tolerate any profanity or hostility towards players, fans or staff.
  • Teams will be ranked after the preliminary play to determine the seeds for the playoffs. In the event of a tie, total goals against in the preliminary 8 games will be looked at then total goals for will be considered.

◊STAY ON ROUTE 95 NORTH

◊Take Rt. 90 - Massachusetts Turnpike East towards Boston
