Your Assignment:

A.  Create a tombstone of one of America’s first Presidents. On this tombstone engrave their finest accomplishment. Your tombstone must include all of the components below.

1.  Details -- Have the Presidents full name, birth and death dates, and their finest accomplishment

2.  Format -- Create a tombstone in any format that suits you. It can be a piece of cardboard, Styrofoam, poster board, or paper.

3.  Effort -- Color the tombstone and make it look as real as possible.

B.  Write a two paragraph Eulogy of this President that includes all of the components below.

1.  Scholarly Sources -- Uses at least three scholarly sources

2.  Parenthetical Citations -- Quotes one source in the paper and parenthetically cites it

3.  Bibliography -- Cites all sources in a bibliography

4.  Biography Paragraph -- Has a first paragraph that serves as biography.

5.  “Will be remembered for” Paragraph -- Has a second paragraph that describes the fame, prominence and major successes of the president

6.  Format – The eulogy is typed in Times New Roman Font 12’, is double-spaced and has 1” margins
