Job Responsibilities:

As one of the nation’s fastest growing Christian foster care ministries, The Bair Foundation is currently seeking a full time or part time Intensive Home-Based Therapist in Dayton, Columbus, Kent or Ashtabula, OH.Core Responsibilities:1. Responsible for providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families with mental health issues.2. Completes the diagnostic assessment for each client.3.Visits and calls to assure the quality and appropriateness of services provided to each client.4. Provides individual and or family counseling sessions to promote each client’s mental health recovery.5. Develops and Individualized Service Plan (ISP) to meet program requirements.6. Coordinates services to assure effective communication with the treatment team.7. Meets with county/other mental health personnel to provide a report on client’s progress.8. Provides community, school or home-based supportive services for each client.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in counseling, social work or a related field with two years of experience in child welfare or mental health. LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT required. This position qualified for a $1,000 sign on bonus and generous school loan reimbursement opportunities!

Job Responsibilities:

As one of the nation’s fastest growing Christian foster care ministries, The Bair Foundation is currently seeking an Licensing Coordinator in Kent, OH. The Licensing Coordinator directs the recruitment, support and retention of foster families according to state regulations and policies and procedures of The Bair Foundation.Core Responsibilities:1.Makes determinations regarding the approval or rejection of foster home applicants.2.Schedules and conducts preliminary home study of prospective foster parents and ensures current foster parent home studies are up-to-date.3.Approves the scheduling of Group Study Process.4.Instructs lesson modules for Group Study Process and other applicable trainings.5.Assures that foster home records are in compliance with State minimum standards, COA standards and The Bair Foundation/Christian Family Services Management Corporation (CFSMC) policies.6.Approves training for foster parents and maintains a library of videos, books, etc. for foster parent trainings.7.Performs or arranges for foster home care recertification as required by state regulations.8.Responsible for initial inquiries by potential foster parents to follow-up phone calls and encourage inquirers to attend GSPs, motivate them to become foster parent and answer questions about the foster parent process.9.Train and certify incoming foster parents in order to meet office growth goals.10. Licensing Coordinators are required to certify a minimum of 12 foster families per year.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in social work or a related field with one year of experience placing children outside their home. LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC or LMFT required in the state of Ohio.
