KAZUHIKO ISHII
(CONDUCTOR JAPAN)
EDUCATION
In 1953 he was born in Iwakuni Yamaguchi Pre. His Ancestor are in Fukuoka Pre.
His uncle was chef Contrabass Player of New Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo and Shinkyo Symphony Orchestra in Manchuria until 1945.
In 1975, he graduated from The Tokyo College of Music(Bachelor of Arts), where he majoured in Horn under Prof.k.Sono, Prof.M.Yasuhara, and Prof.M.Umeda,and studied Conducting under Prof.K.Kobayashi, Piano under Prof.H.Nomoto.
From 1977 to 80,he studied perfomance interpretation under Prof.S.Ono.
From 1989 to 91,he studied Musicologies at Vienna University. In 1986,he studied conducting under Prof.J.Karmar in a Vienna Master Course. From 1981 to 88 he studied conducting under Prof.Y.Shiozawa,and from 1984 to 88,under prof.H.Kuroiwa
From 1990 to 91 and 1996 to 97 he studied conducting of Operettea under Pro. Rudolf Bibl in Vienna.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE From 1975 to 79,he was the member of Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra as a chief Horn player, while he played Horn as a guest player of Kyusyu Symphony Orchestora, From 1983 to 88 ,he conducted many Chorus and Brass Orchestras and Orchestras. Green Echors, Atago Frauen Choir,and Choir Villia, and Yamaguchi Symphony Orchestra, Hagi Symphony Orchestra, Villia Orchestra Japan Camber Orchestra etc. In 1990 he conducted Wiener Walz at the final concert of Vienna International Summer MusicSeminar. In 1997,1998,1999,2002, 2006,2007,2008,he conducted Rumania Radio Chamber Orchestra in Bucharest and in Japan.
From 1998 he conducted many orchestra in Chieko and Slovakia. Slovakia Chamber Opera Orchestra, I Musici del Teatro Slovakia, Slovakia Bansca Bystrica Opera Orchestra, Bratislava Kammer Musikspieler, Slovakia Chamber Orchestra Chieko Virtuoso etc. From 2006 he conducted Concilium Musicum Wien,Vienna royal Chamber Orchestra in Vienna.
From 1992 he conducted many Orchestras and Operas in Japan.
From 1992 to 2003 he was a Professer of Yamaguchi Junior College.
RELATED ACTIVTIES From 1992 to 95,he was the president of “The Vienna Music Tour”
From 1995,he is writing many music essays for Japanese newspapers and magazines. From 1992 to 95,he was a Executive Committee of “Musicia’s Union Japan”.
