Registering your Arbonne Business in Nova Scotia
Who Needs This Permit?
Anyone who wants to engage in direct sales in Nova Scotia on behalf of a company which is properly licensed to make such sales, where the first person-to-person contact is made by the salesperson outside of a retail outlet. This includes home parties, telephone solicitations, door-to-door sales and sales by a multi-level distributor.
As agreed to in your Independent Consultant Application & Agreement Canada, all Arbonne Consultants in Canada arerequired to ensure that all licensing requirements are met per the regulations. The agreement specifically states the following consultant obligations, “responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits and for complying with all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws, codes and regulations in connection with my activities as an Arbonne Independent Consultant.” (Independent Consultant Application & Agreement | Canada, Terms and Conditions, 1. b.)

Expiry & Renewal
This permit is valid to the end of the term of the employer/sponsor's annual permit. The renewal notice will be NOT sent to the individual permit holder but to Arbonne and Arbonne will contact you to ensure the funds are re-imbursed to Arbonne for Renewals.
Price & Payment (No tax is charged)
Permit: $51.40 per year (subject to changes by Department)
NOTE: The permit that is granted to a salesperson expires at the same time as the business license granted to the sponsoring company in the first year of licensing. This means that an initial permit may be granted for a period of less than one year. The fee is pro-rated quarterly within the licensing year of each company. It will be necessary to contact the Business Licensing Section to determine the fee amount.
Payment: If you send in the form, please pay by cheque or money order made out to the Minister of Finance.
Nova Scotia Direct Sellers License Process:
1. Download the form
2. Complete ALL pages of the application, except:
· Page 2: Please leave #2 “Prospective employer’s Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies” blank.
· Page 4: Please leave “Certificate of Employer or Sponsor” blank.
3. Mail the completed form with a cheque ($51.40) payable to Minister of Finance, to the Arbonne office in Toronto:
