Important Assessment Dates for 2015-2016 School Year

August and September-

  • Kindergarten-administer the Florida Kindergarten Readiness Screener(FLKRS), Work Sampling System(WSS), to all K students within the first 30 days of school
  • Administer Running Record Assessment (BASM, DRA, or Rigby) to all first, second, and third grade students and K students who are reading.
  • Grades 4 and 5 must administer the Florida Assessments for Instruction in Reading-Florida Standards (FAIR-FS) to Level 1 and 2 students on the English/LA Florida Standards Assessment (FSA)
  • Third Grade Alternative to Promotion using 2015 BAFS

October-

  • Data from (FLKRS), (WSS) must be entered in Progress Monitoring and Reporting Network (PMRN) by 10/7/15
  • Running Record Data must be entered in BASIS 3.0 by 10/23/15
  • Data from (FAIR-FS) must be entered in (PMRN) by 10/30/15

November-

  • Administer Running Record Assessment (BASM, DRA, or Rigby) to all kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students.

January-

  • Running Record Assessment Data for the second quarter must be enteredin BASIS 3.0 by 1/8/16
  • Grades 4 and 5 must administer the Florida Assessments for Instruction in Reading-Florida Standards (FAIR-FS) to Level 1 and 2 students on the English/LA Florida Standards Assessment (FSA)

February-

  • Administer Running Record Assessment (BASM, DRA, or Rigby) to all kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students.
  • Data from (FAIR-FS) must be entered in (PMRN) by 2/5/16
  • ELL Testing (ACCESS) begins must be completed by 3/17/16

March-

  • Florida Standards Alternate Assessment Administration begins 3/1/16 (Grades 4 and 5)
  • Cognative Abilities Test (CogAT) for grade 2 March 14th-17th
  • ELL Testing (ACCESS) begins must be completed by 3/17/16
  • Running Record Assessment Data for the third quarter must be enteredin BASIS 3.0 by 3/18/16
  • FSA Grade 3 English Language Arts Session 1 3/29/16
  • FSA Grade 3 English Language Arts Session 2 3/30/16
  • FSA Grade 3 and 4Math Session 1 3/31/16

April-

  • FSA Grade 3 and 4 Math Session 24/1/16
