Immaculate Conception Church, Newburyport, MA—SUNDAY Curricula 2017-2018 Gr K-8

Grades K-8: 30 hours of formation are required by the archdiocese. We have scheduled 21 Sunday in-class sessions. We would also like to have the children participating regularly at Sunday liturgy which is both liturgical and catechetical through the homily. By participating in liturgy and catechesis, we will far exceed the required 24 hours. If your child attends the Sunday program, please consider participating in liturgy at 9:00am or 11:30am.

For additional ongoing formation at home, you can loginto the passcode: FG-2013. We are also required to teach on child safety. Gr 1-3: Talking about Touching (TAT) Curriculum on Child Safety. Gr 4-6 Keeping Children Safe and Gr 6-8 Created for Love. 4-6 are to match their lessons on the dates that TAT lessonsare covered.

Catholicism: This middle school subscription includes 22 videos and lesson plans, plus activities and assessments for each video. Assembled as a virtual tool-kit, each catechist can easily use some or all of the content, which also can be shared in the classroom or via a link for one-to-one learning or at-home use.
