(COEX)

Seoul, Korea

The 5th International Meeting on Information Display and Exhibition (IMID’05) will be held during July19 ~ 23, 2005in theCOEX Convention & Exhibition Center inSeoul, Korea. The IMID’05 is co-organized by KIDS (Korean Information Display Society), SID (Society for InformationDisplay),EDIRAK (Electronic Display Industrial Research Association of Korea), Displaybank, and The Electronic Times.

Since its inception in 2001, the IMID grows every year in the number of participants and exhibitors as well as in the quality and technological advances of papers and presentations. We expect the IMID’05 in Seoul will grow even more and serve as an important international conference for researchers and engineers to present their pioneering works in the display technologies and share their ideas.

In the IMID’05, recent progress in all aspects of display research, engineering, manufacturing, and applications will be presented and discussed. In particular, the IMID’05 focuses on the FPD manufacturing technology, AMLCD, latest LC technologies, high-efficiency PDPs, AMOLEDs, Flexible displays and plastic electronics, FEDs, large-area displays, 3D displays, and system and applications for FPD. In addition, the in-depth discussion on the cost reduction of LCD and PDP production will be made among the industry’s experts.

In addition, we are preparing special social events for participants to enjoy a distinctive Korean culture, which has been developed during 5,000 years of history. We will do our best to make the IMID’05 a fruitful and joyful conference and exhibition.

We look forward to seeing you all in Seoul, Korea!
