Imaging Suspension – Medrad announced that they are suspending sales of Avanta Fluid Management System Injector in the United States for 90 days. Medrad will continue to supply existing customers who have the Avanta injector with disposables.
Imaging Recall – announcement that Mallinckrodt Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of all unexpired lots of MD-Gastroview contrast media in 120 ml and 240 ml bottles released for distribution between September 2009 and June 2011.
Imaging – announcement of new agreement for Conventional Film, dry Media and Printers to incumbent Agfa HealthCare Corporation. This category consists of conventional (wet) film, dry media film, and printers that are used to provide hard copy for interpretation for diagnosis, imaging marketing or archiving. Associated screens and cassettes used in conventional filming are also included.
