$100 deposit (payable to the International Music Camp; non- refundable if application is withdrawn. The NDMEA Internship scholarship amount is $200 USD. The remaining balance can be paid at any time up to when you arrive at camp.

16th ANNUAL NDMEA/IMC INTERNSHIP
The North Dakota Music Educators Association will again sponsor up to two (2) high school juniors and/or seniors as interns at the International Music Camp during the summer of 2018. Internships are available for the following sessions:
Session 2: June 24-June 30 (Band)Session 4: July 8-14 (Choir)
Session 3: July 1-7 (Band)Session 5: July 15-21 (Band)
Session 6: July 22-28(Band or Orchestra)
What does an intern do?
Interns will work with guest conductors and other artist-teaching staff, attend Professional Development Workshops, and participate in other music enrichment activities while gaining insight into music education as a profession.
Application requirements:
- Must be completing grade 11 or 12 in Spring 2018
- Presently attend a school in North Dakota
- Complete an NDMEA/IMC Internship Application (available from the IMC Office by calling 701-838-8472, by email )
- School music educator must be a NAfME Member
- Submit letters of recommendation from school music educator and principal
- Submit application and other items by mail no later than April 13, 2018
