Marketing routes for Consortium
We’re always working to ensure we provide effective opportunities for our members to market their services, resources and information. The Trust has a number of communication channels which members may wish to utilise to reach their audiences and we have provided a summary of these below.

- Consortium newsletter – The Consortium newsletter is currently sent weekly to members and contains a summary of each item, any action required and a link to the member site where further information can be accessed. If you would like to include a story in the Consortium newsletter, please get in touch with Rosie by Thursday morning of the week you want the story to go .
- External newsletter– The external newsletter is sent to our database of 22,000supporters at the end of every month. If you would like to take a look at previous newsletters, they can be found here. If you are interested in including a story in the monthly newsletter, please get in touch with Rosie .
- Social media– Currently, we have 8,361 followers on Twitter and 1,811 likes onFacebook! If members have information or new projects that they would like the Trust to promote on social media, please send Jack – me suggested posts.
- The Consortium Catalogue –The catalogue outlines all the services and resources offered by our member organisations. The audience for the catalogue is the children and young people’s workforce. The content is dividedinto audience categories and within these the content is further broken down into sections for resources focussed at the universal, targeted and specialist levels, and resources for use by leadership and by parents. To include a new resource/course etc in the catalogue, or update an existing entry please contact .
- Latest news page – We have a Latest news page on the Trust’s website which we regularly update with information and newsfrom the Trust, our members and the wider sector which would be of interest to our supporters. - Member slots at meetings – We hold the last 20 minutes of each Consortium meeting for updates from members. This is an opportunity to tell others about your work and anynew opportunities or developments. If you would like to reserve a slot at an upcoming meeting please let Rosie know -
- Events - The Trust attend a number of conferences and events related to SLCN and this isa fantastic opportunity for members to send along some relevant flyers about your organisation to share with current and new supportersfrom the children and young people’s workforce as well as parents.We circulate a list of the external events we are exhibiting at to the key dates table at the bottom of our weekly Consortium newsletter so please do keep an eye on this.
