Instructions For E-911

If the Precinct doesn’t change give back to the Mapping & Statistics Administrators

  1. These are processed in the 2-n-1 system. Go to file and click on E-911.
  1. Use 504 as the control code. Look to see what SS#’s are highlighted and ONLY process those. If it says ALL at the top you will process all the voters on the page. Leave any phone numbers, mailing address if different from the residential address, return mail dates, or inactive dates in the system.

3.  If there is an application pending it won’t let you make the E911 change. You can either skip that voter or you can make the change. If you decide to make the change you will treat that record as you do a driver’s license application, however you must go back into File and turn off E-911 or it will put that on the printout.

  1. Make sure that you put a check mark in the YES box to print and a check mark in the No box for Confirmation Card?.
  1. Make sure that you put a check mark next to the ones that you have completed. This ensures that anyone that may have to complete the sheet you were working on knows exactly where you stopped and anyone checking to make sure that it has been completed knows that it has been. Once the sheet(s) have been completed write the date and initials at the top right and you may give back to the Mapping and Statistics Administrators.
  1. Write the old precinct at the bottom left corner even though it will still be the same precinct.
  1. After you have completed the E-911 sheet(s) you must go back and turn off the

E-911 function.

  1. Cut and file in alphabetical last name order in the Change basket.
