WEBELOS WOODS 2013 November 15th – 17th
Location = CAMP MUARITZ Ganado, Texas
Troop will provide three meals for Saturday and breakfast on Sunday, Troop will also provide bottled water. You will need to bring appropriate clothing, camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pillows) any snacks desired and flashlights (lanterns are optional)
If camping gear is needed, Troop can supply
-Webelos I & II are invited to attend. All Webelos Scout’s will camp with their parents in a designated area next to your host Troop 1424. Webelos I meals will be provided by the camp in a designated area. Webelos II will have meals provided by Troop 1424 Scouts and their Parents will have meals provided by the Troop 1424 adults.
- Meet at New Hope Lutheran Church on Friday at 6pm we will depart by 6:30pm (All Scouts in Class A Uniform)
-Drive to Camp Mauritz in Ganado Texas (south of Wharton) approximately 2 hours
-Setup Camp, no meal will be served Friday evening, please bring a sack dinner for the trip down or before.
-Breakfast served at 7:30am Saturday Morning
-Opening ceremony at 9:00am (All Scouts in Class Uniform)
-Webelos to sign up for pins and go to the designated area.
-Lunch to be served at 12:00
-Parents can visit any Troop setup for “Meet & Greet” time is 1pm – 4pm
-Relax/down time from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
-Dinner to be served at 6:00pm
-Following cleanup, campfire fun will begin with stories and songs.
-Breakfast served at 7:30am Sunday Morning
-Closing ceremony at 9:00am (All Scouts in Class A Uniform)
-Pack up and depart by 10:30am (All Scouts in Class A Uniform)
We will host a meeting for all Webelos parents attending on Monday November 11, 2013 at 7:45pm at the H-E-B Community Meeting Room.
