JOB DESCRIPTION
Position : Technical Consultant– Software Development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or any related field. Advanced degree desirable.
  • Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, implementation and quality assurance.
  • Understanding of software tools, application services, databases, execution platforms and communications protocols required to build business applications.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle Development Tool, Oracle Workflow, Javaapplication, OA Framework or Oracle Database is an advantage.
  • Working experience with ERP consulting firms or leading ERP vendors is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team and work well under pressure, time constraints and difficult situations.
  • Good analytical, problem solving skill, design skills and result oriented.
  • Good relationship, interpersonal, communications and persuasive skills.
  • Good working attitude to handle pressure.
  • Fast learner of technical concepts and skills.
  • Active and be willing to work hard.
  • Good command of English.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with client users and executives to gather business and system requirements.
  • Be a part of the team to live the project on schedule.
  • Responsible for the requirement analysis, designing, coding and testing of program by using Oracle Development tool.
  • Provide technical support to the client during the implementation phase
  • Monitor and report progress / change against the plan.
  • Perform maintenance and enhancement of new and/or existing software development tools, application service components or product delivery infrastructure, on Oracle Application supported platforms, such as UNIX, Windows, and NT.
  • Develop and maintains APIs to 3rd party application tools and services into Oracle Application’s development Environment.
  • Perform analysis to define requirements for modifications or customization including affected programs, expected behavior, related document changes, and test scenarios.
  • Prepare program documentation of product components.
  • Establish technical proficiency in design, implementation, system administration, and unit testing along with development standard.
