The course catalog that describes each course including the learning objectives for each course is located at Training materials are a combination of Power Point slides, lecture and training workbooks that contain resource materials, quizzes and coding practice scenarios. For cost containment purposes, training materials will be posted to the DPH ICD-10 website ( at least three days prior to the training and participants will be responsible for printing their own training materials.
The ICD-10-CM Coding training is being offered statewide to a limited number of DPH and local agency staff who belong to their local agency ICD-10 Implementation Team. These individuals need the early training in order to conduct their local agency Business Impact Assessments and Clinical Documentation Assessments.
To the extent possible, coding training for local agency staff will be focused on the code categories most applicable to the agency’s client mix.
