MATCH / WINTER LEAGUE RULES

The Ball

All games will be played with a size 3ball. Futsal Ball's tend to be slightly heavier than footballs with reduced bounce. This will encourage teams to keep the ball on the ground. Ball's will be provided.

The Pitch

Played to boundary lines which will be made aware to all coaches & players at each venue. Players can enter any area in the field of play

Squad Rules

Squads should be made up by no more than 10 players, with 5 taking part at a time.

Each Player should wear shin pads and indoor footwear (Not Huraches or any standard trainer)

Bibs will be provided in the event of a colour clash.

Substitutions

Rolling Sub’s, Subs can be made at any point in the game although the oncoming player can't enter the game until team mate has come off. Players must come off at their team's bench.

Kick Ins

Kick in's should be taken from as near as to where the ball left the field of play.

The ball must be stationary when playing

Once the ball is in the player’s possession they have 4 seconds to take the kick in.

Should the playertake longer than the allocated 4 seconds a kick in is awarded to the opposing team.

Opposing players must be 5 yards back from the player taking the kick in.

Goals cannot be scored from a kick in.

Corners

As per a kick in the player has 4 seconds once in possession of the ball. Opposing players must be 5yards from the player taking corner.

Goals can be scored from corners.

Goalkeepers

Goalkeepers are allowed out the penalty area but cannot handle the ball out of the penalty area.

All goal kicks should be thrown or rolled out by hand.

Back Passes

Pass backs cannot be picked up

An indirect free kick will be awarded for a pass back being picked up

Should the goalkeeper roll the ball out to a player, that player cannot pass the ball back to the goalkeeper until an opposition player touches the ball or the ball passes the half way line.

Accumulation of Fouls

Each team will be allowed to give away 3 direct free kicks per half (normally 5). On the fourth direct

Free kick and any foul thereafter, a 10 metre penalty will be awarded to the opposing team. Goalkeeper can come off line

Penalties

Any foul in the penalty area is awarded with a penalty kick. the goalkeeper must remain on the line for

Match Duration

Matches will be 2 x 20 minute halves.
