Annual deadline:Due byEnd of Fall semester after each annual supervisory/dissertation committee meeting.For each PhD student, the first Annual Progress report is due at the end of the student’s second year and should be submitted with the student’s Candidacy and Proposal Assessment forms. From the Candidacy Exam forward and throughout the dissertation phase, students must hold an annual committee meeting each spring after which the Research Advisor should update and re-submit the Annual Progress Report.The Research Advisor shall submit this form once per year (starting from the end of the second academic year) for each student he/she are supervising.

  1. Research progress: Briefly describe the research activities conducted by the student during the project year. Include overall evaluations from the committee, any deficiencies noted (if any),recommendations proposed by the committee to rectify deficiencies, and the period during which the student is expected to address any deficiencies.

B-F: Include if applicable.

  1. Presentations: List abstracts, posters presented during the project year. Include internal and external presentations/seminars.
  1. Manuscripts: List manuscripts submitted/accepted/published during the project year. Provide citations for in press/published manuscripts.
  1. Grants: List any grants awarded to the student (pre-doc, training, etc.) and/or grant application(s) in which data generated by the studenthas been used. Provide only the title of the grant/agency/PI information.
  1. Patents: List any patent applications with dates (invention disclosure/provisional/full) filed based on the work by the student.
  1. Others: Include any other items of note (e.g. scholarships, awards, honors).
