I was born and live in Lima Peru, graduated in 1971 as Industrial and Systems Engineer and had dogs around me and my family the whole life.We shared our live with dogs from several breeds like, German shepherd, Papillion, Afghan hound, Maltese, Yorkshire terrier, and pug among others

I am a breeder owner handler of Afghans Hounds since 1975. Since then I had the privilege to produce more than 80 champions under Chaman & Dega and mainly DegaAfghans prefixes. As a breeder owner I have been handled my Afghans all the way to win more than 80 BIS not only in Peru but other countries as well.

The gene pool used in my breeding program, allow me to produce, in six generations of home breed dogs, champions in many countries along the American continent, and the European continent as well. Many of these Champions became Group and BIS Winners at national and international level. As breeder owner handler I had the honour to achieve memorable accomplishments. In Peru, we won several times, TopTrophies regarding Best Breeder of theYear, Best Dog of the Year, Best Junior dog of the Year and Best Puppy of the Year. Internationally, my Afghans have been won multiples BOB and Groupsat FCI World Shows, Americas & Caribe FCI Shows, Sicalam Shows, Best Bred By in Show at the 1993 and 2010 AHCA National Specialty in USA and Award of Merit at 1995 Westminster premier Show in New York, USA.

I am a lifetime member of the kennel Club Peruano. I have been elected several times member of the KCP’s Board of Directors. I am currently past Presidentof the KCPand member of the Judges Council and Genealogic Commission .I have beenpart of the panel at the First Afghan Hound World Congress held in 1995 at San Diego California. I have participated as delegate of my country at FCI World and AmericasCaribbean Meeting’s, SICALAM General Meetings and AKC Eukanuba Challenge Events as well. I am registered in AKC as a visitor judge under # 26980

I got my licences to judge Afghan Hounds in 1995, All Breeds at national level in 2002, and All Breeds at international level in 2005. Since then I had the honour to Judge National and Regional Specialties and-/or National and international All Breed shows in many of countries along America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
