Drivers

PURPOSE
·  Why does the job exist? / To deliver fresh, ambient and produce goods to the Company’s network of stores throughout the North of England. Duties will also include assisting in the loading and unloading of your vehicle both at the stores and the depot.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
·  Describe all the core outputs of the job.
·  The key areas in which results must be achieved / 1.  Responsible for Daily Vehicle Check to ensure the vehicle is road worthy and all checks are in line with the ‘Daily
Vehicle Check’ procedure.
2.  To ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and
returned to the appropriate department.
3.  To ensure that all equipment, cardboard and rubbish are uplifted from each store and returned to site.
4.  At all times to be smart, courteous, clean, respectful and
professional.
5.  To ensure compliance with Company Procedures and
Legislation relating to Health & Safety.
6.  Responsible for operating safely and legally in compliance with EU Drivers Hours, Tachograph & WTD Legislation.
7.  To be responsible for internal and external cleanliness of
allocated vehicle.
8.  Act as an ambassador for the Company when meeting
customers and colleagues creating an excellent
impression.
9.  To demonstrate and role model the Booths values.
