Just have to tell you guys, you're the best. After researching the other schools, we were totally amazed by your reputation, training and facilities. My name is Lamont and for the previous 4 weeks, I had the opportunity to learn at your institution, which was nothing short of great. As a certified corporate trainer, I was naturally observant of the facilitators’ behaviors (just like I'll be aware of bartenders' behaviors thanks to your outstanding program). I could have learned to pour and mix drinks anywhere - your school taught me how to bartend. The importance of personality, responsibility and prioritization were re-enforced as much as the importance of getting the right ingredients. Fundamentally, the facilitation encompassed all aspects of SAVI (the learning styles). We practiced hands on mixing (somatic), heard Rob and Diana, explain the information (auditory), saw the drinks and the ingredients on the black board – we were reminded us to take mental pictures of the final drink (visual) and where given acronyms (intellectual) for the more complex drinks and garnishes. At the end of the day, your program (including your study material) is well designed and very well executed. The program cost is a steal and I will recommend your institution to anyone I know looking to get into bartending. I also interacted with Diana and she has a wonderful personality and really instilled that bartenders are more than just drink pourers and not let "the people who feel they pay our rent" treat you like less than you are. As my subject states, "I raise my glass to you" in sheer appreciation for the wonderful learning experience. Cheers Lamont
I just finished your course and I passed the exam with a 100% mark. AWESOME!!! I trulyenjoyed your school and my experience. Before I came to your classes, I did not know anything about bartending. The main reason it was so easy for me to get it all in 4 weeks was my instructor Rob. He made the material so easy to understand and he made classes so much fun. He gave us all the difficulties of the bartending job and taught us what to do and how to do it right. He told us what to expect as well. He is the best teacher I've ever had!!! Thanks to you Rob. I took your bartending course a while back and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going with you guys. You will be pleased to know that I got a bartending job at the ACC and I am serving at a pub close to home in the beaches. What a great course! If you are coming from no experience or moderate experience in the service industry, you will find all you need in this course. The instructors are very knowledgeable and passionate about the industry. Their objective is to make you learn in a fun and engaging class. I finished your course on Dec. 16/09 and I wanted to comment on the outstanding job of my instructors. Rob taught a lot of my classes and the positive environment he created. I am a prof at a local University and have trained teachers for many years, both in Canada and overseas. Rob is probably one of the most dynamic and skilled teachers I have ever worked with. He is very learner-centered, and was able to vary his teaching technique in order to meet a variety of learning styles. His classes were always engaging, well organized and fun to be a part of. He was aware of students' weaknesses and made a point of constantly reminding them of what they needed to change. He was able to turn potentially dry material into something interesting with his wit, humour and charm. I cannot count the number of times I laughed during the course and consequently will not forget what he taught me. You have an outstanding instructor in Rob and like myself, I am sure his students leave his class with a positive learning experience.

I must say it was such a pleasure to learn from the instructors Diana and Rob. The two consecutive weekend classes I took went by so quickly because it was a perfect combination of theory and practical. In addition to getting hands on practice with mixology, I must commend Diana and Rob for their patience and for sharing their experiences. Each instructor added their personal touches including memorable stories and experiences, which made learning and remembering how to make drinks so much more enjoyable, and equipping me with the confidence to be a solid candidate for any bartending position.
