Things You Should Know:

- Vision Screenings are happening today. If your child was on the list for this screening they should be getting some results sent home within the next few days.

- Christmas Dress Down Day- The 19th is a day to dress festively! :) In order to keep the focus on Jesus' birth, and in respect to those who may not choose to include Santa in their Christmas traditions, let's keep our Santa related outfits at home.

- We had our annual fire inspection yesterday and passed with flying colors. I'm supposed to report the following to you: "Notice is hereby given that the annual inspection for the 2017-2018 school year of Spa Christian School for fire hazards which might endanger the lives of students, teachers, employees therein, has been completed and the report thereof is available at the office of Spa Christian School at206 Greenfield Ave/Ballston Spafor inspection by all interested persons.”

- I hope you all enjoyed the snow dayon Tuesday. Just a reminder, the local news stations are notified almost immediately after we find out (we almost always follow what Ballston Spa decides), and so they are the place to go for the most up to date information. Our website is then updated. The last thing we update is facebook, but I will admit that it doesn't always get done right away and isn't the place to go for the most up to date information.

- Have you signed up for gift wrapping? If not, please contact Kristy and see what is left:

- The 3/4th grade collected A LOT of food for the food pantry! Thank you for helping your children touch the lives of those in need.

- Because of your hard work during the read-a-thon, the 1st and 2nd graders got their new desks! The transition of old to new is happening today, which means thatwe have about 22 old desks that need a new home. Would you like a desk for your child at home?A table for sewing? They will be in the hallway for the next couple days, with the hopes that some of you may want one or two. Or maybe you know a church or homeschooling family that may want a few. The picture below shows a new desk on the left and an old desk on the right.

Enjoy your day and feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns.
