·  Dance Marathon

o  February 28th 5-11pm

o  Continue getting chapters registered and fundraising

o  Bake sale- In need of volunteers

§  The fraternities will be baking cookies (Individually wrapped)

§  If you bake 1 dozen that counts as one community service hour

§  The cookies must be in the GO by 10:30 on February 16th

o  Since the theme of Dance Marathon is Super Hero’s and Villain’s each chapter is responsible for making a super hero display

o  (John) Emerging leaders will not start next week but rather on the 27th

o  This will cause FVS to hold two sessions back to back

·  Watch out for your chapters Snapchat stories (keep those under control)

·  Greek budget proposal next Friday the 20th (time and location tbd)

·  I’ve received dues from 2 chapters

o  Due date extended to next Thursday the 19th at IFC

§  Every business day past that your chapter will be billed a late fee of $5

·  This fee will accumulate every business day at 4pm

·  What is IFC?

o  We took an oath as council members to help build our Greek community for the betterment of the larger picture, school and city

o  Members what to do more, they want more than they are doing now

o  "being men for the betterment of our fellow man" - Na

o  Why do we have to do everything seperate from eachother. There are strength in numbers and with unity comes greatness, we can be the change that levels the gap between us and PHC.

o  We need to change this campus to "Strive to our greatest potential"

o  Ask your chapters "WHAT DO THE FRATNERITIES ON THE MNSU CAMPUS NEED"

o  (DJ) What should we be doing first

§  Look at your chapter and find the purpose.

§  Make sure all of the members are working towards that purpose

o  (Gunby) Lets do more All Fraternity events and keep eachother responsible for our growth

o  (Mangione) We need better communication for what the Fratnerities should be doing, which would be great if we could work on things together. *communicate goals and needs

o  (Jesse) Lets look at why we do all of this.

o  (John) Set up goals and milestones so if the long term goals aren't achieve members could get discourages. "Golden Circle" Simon Sinek - start with why.

o  (DJ) Set a time out during the year where we are recruiting collaboratively to grow our community

o  (Na) lets shoot for 100 guys recruited during a semester, this would be breaking a goal

o  (Gunby) Make sure you PR those good aspects of your chapter so our communities can break

o  (Na) look to left and right, how would you feel if something happened to your brothers.

·  NPC ruling on sweethearts

o  wouldn't allow the sweetheart process to be competitive or against values

·  Greek Housing Meeting @ 10 a.m. Friday in CSU 238. Be sure your rep knows.

·  Composite bid info has been sent to vendors. Info due from them on 2/24. We’ll meet as a group shortly after.

·  14 men’s bid cards in: 5 Sigma Nu, 5 TKE, 1 Phi Psi, 1 Phi Kap, 1 Lambda Chi, 1 Sigma Chi

·  6 women’s bid cards in: Alpha Chi Omega

·  Can self nominate for awards except for brotherhood award
