Are You Eligible?

To be considered for help with your pet’s veterinary costs, you must be in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit. Council Tax Exemptions are not the same as Council Tax Benefit and do not qualify.

Applications are considered, by the committee and support of 25% (up to a maximum of £50.00) of your veterinary costs may be paid. Please return this completed application form with proof of the benefit that you receive to the address overleaf.

Please note

We do not support request for help for cleaning your pet’s teeth, yearly injections or treatment for fleas/worming.

Bath Cats & Dogs Home

Who are we?

We are the third largest animal home in the country and we find new homes for around 2,500 animals a year.

We are a self-funding charity organisation and receive no financial assistance for the day-to-day running cost of the home.

We need to find over £80,000 each month to run the Home. Currently we have to fund a yearly deficit of over £1,000,000.

We have to find the money through legacies, donations and general fundraising.

If you can help us with our fundraising, please ring us for information. If you are interested in volunteer work with the Home such as:
