Have had bikes my whole life but returned to cycling properly a few years ago and for my 50th did Landsend-JohnOgroats unsupported. I have ridden the London 100 twice as well as numerous sportives, overnight rides with wild camping and had several cycling tours along the Northumberland coast. I also spent a great week at Stephen Roaches cycle training camp in Majorca earlier this year…very good! I cycle regularly with friends usually around 50-80km on a weekend ride.

I have been an Outdoor leader and instructor for many years originally running Wild Life a bushcraft and survival school which became Frontiers/Path Hill outdoors and work with thousands of people of every age from pre-school to pensioners and run groups from excluded young teenagers to Large Corporate Businesses. I have taken groups to work in Bulgarian Orphanages and lead Canoe expeditions to Sweden as well as numerous UK expeditions. I Founded Path Hill Outdoors in 2004 and co-created an alternative curriculum for disengaged young people to help get them back into education or work.
I am now semi retired working at Path Hill and other outdoor centres when required.
