Hurricane provides both “full” and “do it yourself” yard services. Under “full” services we perform work on your boat to your specifications on a time and materials basis. For the “do it yourself” client we haul your vessel, power wash the bottom, and block. If some portion of the work requires special tools or skills, our personnel can assist on a time and materials basis. We do not loan tools.
Any outside vendors must be approved by management. Office staff must be made aware if an outside vendor is going to be on the yard and vendors must check into the office upon arrival. All vendors on the yard must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance. Any person using outside workers and/or vendors to perform work on your vessel will be charged $30.00 per day per man fee.
We stock most of the supplies you need at competitive prices. We can order many items with next day delivery if we don’t have it in stock. You may use your own supplies, including paint. You are responsible for clean up and hauling off your own trash. For household trash ONLY there is a trash receptacle located by the office entrance. Non household trash must be disposed of offsite.
All boats must have hull and liability insurance. The yard is not responsible for damages due to fire, storms, thefts, winds, ice, acts of God, outside laborers, or the work of independent contractors. The owner agrees the yard will not be liable in the event of such an occurrence.
Travel lift and Equipment Charges:
Hauling (Includes 2 lift straps, max 20 minutes of pressure wash, blocking ………………$5.50 per ft.

Storage rate includes one (1) 30 amp electrical service. Long term storage can be provided on a limited basis for fully found, properly maintained vessels. Hauling charges are in addition to the storage and work space rate. We bill on a monthly basis.

GENERAL YARD RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON THE YARD.
2. In the event of a severe storm, the yard will attempt to provide preparation and damage prevention service. However, the owner is still solely responsible to take all emergency means possible and the yard does not assume any responsibility for said protection or damages to the owner’s boat.
3. Key or hatch combination must be left with the Yard Office.
4. No fires permitted on docks or boats.
5. No dogs allowed in the yard.
6. Owners are not to change boat blocking or stands without assistance of yard personnel. Stands are moved free of charge by boatyard personnel.
7. WORK AREAS MUST BE CLEANED DAILY OR A $40.00 CLEAN-UP FEE WILL BE CHARGED.
8. NO BOATS WILL BE LAUNCHED UNTIL BILLING IS PAID IN FULL.

This Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement is entered into today by and between
______(Promisor) and Hurricane Boatyard (Promisee). Promisor will indemnify and hold harmless Promisee from any and all claims, actions, and judgements, including all cost of defense and attorneys’ fee incurred in defending against same, arising from and related to Promisor use and rental of property at 601 Chinchilla Drive, Bayboro NC. This agreement shall encompass claims resulting from personal or property injury or damage occurring on said property.
