RULES & GUIDELINES FOR RETREATS

The cabins, lodge, chapel and grounds must be kept and left in an orderly condition. Our guests are responsible for any damage to property, buildings, or equipment over and above normal wear and tear and will be billed accordingly.

Painters tape and no-damage hooks are the only item allowed to be used for hanging things and decorating.

Arrangement of beds, furniture, and fixtures is in accordance with the Public Health Services rules. No rearrangement or moving of furniture or fixtures inside the cabins is allowed.

No furniture may be removed from any of the cabins, at any time.

Motor vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas. If additional parking is necessary, please see the Operations or Maintenance Manager. No vehicles are allowed off road or in the grass areas. No driving in the grass in front of the cabins. No vehicles down the hiking trails.

There will be no ATV’s allowed on property.

The chapel is to be used for worship, prayer and study, not active recreation.

Firearms and any weapon that could injure (i.e., guns, rifles, slingshots, knives, etc.) are forbidden at Hunting Ridge Retreat.

No smoking is allowed in our buildings or in the woods on-site. Smoking is only allowed in open outdoors areas. Cigarette butts must not be thrown on the ground.

Alcoholic beverages are forbidden at Hunting Ridge Retreat.

Please respect our quiet hours (12 Midnight – 6am)

Day rental hours are to be arranged with the Operations Manager prior to the retreat. HRR property closes at 8PM.

Swimming, boating and canoeing in the lakes are strictly forbidden.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the cabins or chapel.

No Pets allowed.

Please turn off lights and close doors upon leaving the buildings.

Outdoor fires may be built only at the campsite and the bonfire pit. Please let us know in advance if you would like a bonfire so that we can prepare it for you. Adult supervision is required at all times of campfire and is responsible for making sure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving area.

Do not put anything in the toilets that is insoluble. We are on a septic system.

Our guests are to maintain respectful Christian conduct at all times.

If there is an after hours emergency, please report to the Operations Manager and/or the Maintenance Manager (On site house, next to the lodge).

Please respect the privacy of the property managers and stay off the lawn from the lodge driveway to the other side of the privacy fence.

Any sports activities are to be kept to the south end of the lodge and not in front of the cabins.

No one is allowed on cabin roofs at any time.

Guests must obtain permission prior to fishing, hiking or use of facilities.

Please observe and respect all signage posted on property.

If any groups chooses to disregard the rules, the Director and Operations Manager maintain the right to terminate guests stay for noncompliance with these guidelines.
