HSE Management System Compliance and Equivalency
If the Project/Site Manager of a project determines that specific practices or requirements contained in the P2S Corporate HSE Management System cannot be used on the project, and that the work can be done safely and in an environmentally protective manner by employing other project/site-specific procedures, the Project/Site Manager must submit a completed and approved HSE Management System Compliance and Equivalency form to the P2S HSE Board Coordinator. The form is to be used to document deviations from the P2S HSE Management System.
Each HSE Management System Compliance and Equivalency form/checklist must include the following information:

Subcontracts:
Unless a project-specific HSE Management System is developed when a request for proposal is prepared, Practice 000.653.0010, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System – Table of Contents, is appended to the contract. If the successful bidder (contractor) elects to use the P2S HSE Management System (as indicated at the time of bid), this is noted on the first page of the appendix. For example:
“Contractor shall execute the work in full compliance with P2S’s HSE Management System as set forth herein.”
If successful bidder (contractor) elects not to use P2S’s HSE program, practices, and procedures (as indicated at time of bid) this is also noted on the first page of the appendix. For example:
“Contractor shall execute the work in full compliance with the HSE documentation developed by contractor and submitted for Company’s review in accordance with Contract. Contractor-developed project-specific HSE program/procedures shall meet all of the execution requirements of applicable Company’s program, practices, and procedures set forth herein.”
