Position Title: Photography & Digital Communications Intern
Department: Marketing & Communications
Classification: non-paid internship and does not require academic credit
Reports To: Marketing & Communications Manager and Camp Coordinator

The Photography & Digital Communications Intern position for the Thinkery offers the opportunity to develop creative as well as resourceful marketing strategies and executions. As a non-profit organization, budgets are small but imaginations are unlimited. We are looking for someone who can maximize the impactful bang for our creative buck.
Essential Job Functions:
· Create a dynamic and versatile photography of the Thinkery’s summer programs, specifically the camp program.
· Facilitate costumer communication through photo library, email communication, and social media posts
· Contribute ideas and develop content for blog posts & social media.
· Assist with social media upkeep and content such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram
· Perform social media market research as needed
· Support graphic design needs as assigned
· Track the growth and impact of our social media content
· Contribute to other marketing/communications projects as assigned
Qualifications:
· Interest and understanding of the mission of the Thinkery
· Strong writing skills
· Proficiency using computers, internet and MS Office Suite
· Good research and reporting skills
· Strong communication and time management skills
· Organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter with the ability to multitask
· Ability to think creatively and come up with resourceful ideas and solutions
· Positive attitude and lots of energy.
· Preferably available M-F 9:15-5:15
· Experience with social media tools, photography & video a plus
Schedule: 15-40 hours/week, hours typically fall between 8am and 5pm on weekdays
