Canberra Camp – Deposit

Dear Parent/Guardians,

In 2017, the grade 5-6 camp will be an exploration of Canberra – our Nation’s Capital. The 5 day camp will be held early in Term 1 next year, dates to be confirmed.

The cost of the camp includes bus travel, entrance to all tour venues and exhibits, evening activities, accommodation and food. The estimated cost is approximately $600 - $620. This cost is based on 40 participants and the actual cost will vary depending on the exact number of students attending. We will also attempt to conduct some fundraising events throughout the remaining half of 2016 to bring the cost down for all students.

Due to the nature of this camp, we can not commit to booking transport, accommodation and venues unless we know the minimum number of year 5/6 students attending.

To register your interest and secure your spot in attending this fantastic opportunity, please fill in the permission slip below and return it to the office by Friday 26th of August with a $100 deposit. Deposits will only be returned if we are unable to meet student numbers and the camp can not proceed.

I understand the deposit paid is only refundable if the camp does not go ahead due to numbers.

I understand that money will not be accepted after the due dates, unless a prior arrangement has been made and agreed upon with the teacher in charge, before the due date.
