All the people needed to do things the same way. The currency and the writing system were all the same throughout China. Trade was easier because everything was standardized.

Roads were built. There was an irrigation system for water. The Great Wall of China (4000 miles long) was built to stop invasions.

Shi Huangdi died in 210 BCE. Rebels claimed to have the Mandate from Heaven to replace the emperor. The Qin capital was attacked and burned. There was no central government, so a civil war erupted.
