PRELIMINARY DESIGN REVIEW CONFERENCE MEETING DETAILS

If any of the questions on the checklist are answered “yes,” a PDRC meeting may be required as specified on the form.

The PDRC will fulfill two objectives. The first is to meet the Port’s obligation to inform the City of upcoming development projects. The second is to identify at an early stage the issues in a project that are important to the Airport Building Department, Port Fire Department, Port Environmental Department and the City of SeaTac so that they can be addressed in a timely and effective manner.

This meeting will be scheduled as early in the design stage as possible. The following should be done to schedule the meeting.

q  The completed PDRC checklist must accompany all building permit applications submitted to the Airport Building Department.

q  When scheduling a PDRC meeting, a minimum of 3 sets of relevant plan sheets for a general overview of the project will be required.

q  Plans must include a site plan and vicinity map.

q  If a site plan is not available, an accurate description of work and location must be included.

q  Please reserve a date and time for the required PDRC meeting. They will be scheduled on Thursday mornings between 10:00 AM and 12:00 noon except holidays. Thirty minutes for each meeting will be allotted unless more time is required. Meetings will generally be scheduled for: 10:00; 10:30; 11:00, and 11:30. PDRC meetings must be scheduled a minimum of 10 calendar days in advance.
