How to access the Improving Quality Together Bronze Level

PLEASE NOTE: NHS WALES STAFF HAVE ACCOUNTS ALREADY SET UP ON THIS NEW ELEARNING SITE. YOUR LOGIN DETAILS WILL BE DIFFERENT ON THIS SITE TO OTHERS YOU MAY HAVE USED IN THE PAST. THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW EXPLAIN YOUR LOGIN DETAILS.

1.Access Learning@NHSWales by visiting:

2.Click on tile which displays NHS logo.

3. Click on “Log in” and login with your ESR employee/assignment number (found on your payslip) as your username.

On your first login the password will be changeme ,you will then be prompted to create your own password for future access.

  1. Once logged in navigate to the courses option and click on the “Occupational Knowledge and Skills” option from the course list.

  1. Once the list of courses appear, scroll down and click on ‘view more’ at the bottom of the course list to view the course title “Improving Quality Together – Bronze Level”.
  1. Click on the course title “Improving Quality Together – Bronze Level”. and modules 1 to 4 appear.

7. If prompted for an enrolment key, enter the enrolment key for your organisation (as stated on the page), then click on “Enrol me”. Please note the enrolment keys are case sensitive and need to be typed in (don’t copy/paste). Please also note that a lot of them end with an exclamation mark!

You’re now ready to take the Bronze level course!

Click ‘Module 1’ to make a start. Please ensure you complete every section along with separate assessments for modules 2, 3 and 4.

To pass bronze you need to score at least 4 out of 5 on each assessment.

Your certificate is accessible at the bottom of the course page once you have successfully passed the three assessments.

On successful completion of the assessment your ESR record will be updated.

Further Information

  1. Following successful completion of the e learning your record will be updated in ESR 24-72 hours later. This will be visible in your compliance matrix if you are using Employee Self Service.
  2. Old logins are not accepted – use your employee number only.
  3. NHS Wales staff cannot self register on the site, all NHS Wales staff will have an account set up already based on their ESR assignment/employee number.If you are a new starter and can’t log in using the details explained in these instructions please contact your organisational elearning contact. These are listed on page 5.
  4. IT requirements are Internet Explorer 8, Flash (minimum version 10) and Silverlight (minimum version 4).
  5. If you experience any problems viewing images, distorted pages or requiring any software updates please contact yourlocalIT support.
  6. Enrolment keys are published on the site and do not need to be requested.
