Pursuant to the rules adopted by the Lee County Board of Education and the provisions of G.S. 115C-159, the Lee County Board of Education will on Thursday, the 31st day of July, 2014, 5:30 p.m., at Lee County High School, 1708 Nash Street, Sanford, North Carolina, offer for sale to the highest bidder for cash those certain items of property more particularly described as follows:

1628 sq. ft. frame dwelling house completely finished with two bathrooms and bathroom fixtures, kitchen sink, dishwasher, electric water heater, built-in microwave, electric range, and electric heat/air conditioner. All floors are covered with wall to wall carpet, laminate, or vinyl floor covering. Walls are finished and painted drywall. The kitchen has custom built-in cabinets. The house is complete with light fixtures. It features an architectural shingle roof with a covered front porch. The house is now on temporary pillars and must be removed from the premises after sale is complete. This house has been built by Career and Technical Education students from Lee County High School and Southern Lee High School under the direction of Mr. Quinlan Henry and Mr. Christopher Nance.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

(1) A 10% deposit of the bid price will be required on the day of sale with the balance due within ten (10) days after confirmation of the sale by the Lee County Board of Education. The transfer of the bid property shall not take place until the sale has been confirmed by the Board and the purchaser has complied with the terms of the bid. The Board may reject any and all bids if it determines the bid received is not adequate.

(2) All property must be removed by the buyer from premises within thirty (30) days from the date the Lee County Board of Education accepts the bid and terms of the sale of said property.

Property may be inspected at Lee County High School, 1708 Nash Street, Sanford, NC by appointment or from 4:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. on the day of the sale.
