The Wise Group is proud to have been selected as the provider for Fair Start Scotland to offer end-to-end employability provision to support unemployed people in East and West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.

Our new team, based in Paisley, will support the most economically deprived customer groups and those experiencing multiple and/or entrenched challenges to gaining employment to help them realise their potential and move into employment.

To support our project we have an exciting opportunity for anEngagement Officerto join our team.Our Engagement Officer will provide a comprehensive range of administration and support services to the Fair Start project. Ensuring that all processes relating to quality service delivery and contract/funding obligations are met effectively. Taking referrals from Job Centre Plus, ensuring that internal and external systems are updated daily to ensure accurate information has been entered. As well as carrying out initial assessment and segmentation tool with customersin line with Scottish Government’s guidelines in locations across the five local authority areas.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to cope well under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines. Knowledge of Job Centre Plus processes and systems would be advantageous. Excellent IT skills and previous data entry experience is essential.

A full driving licence is essential and the use of a car would be desirable as there is some travelling involved in this post.
