8:00- FIRST GENERAL SESSION-Pallisades Ballroom
We get introducedand go crazy, Blake gives speech and we go crazy, We do our skit and go crazy!!

Saturday- breakfast on your own (bring breakfast, Starbucks on site-will be CROWDED)
9:40-be in ballroom, seated as a group ready for the second general session
10:00-SECOND GENERAL SESSION**pick up banners and scrapbooks**
Blake answers questions, we go crazy, we vote for him, and then breathe a sigh of relief!
12:30-6:30 FREE TIME!!!
Lunch and hang time at Broadway on the Beach, lounge time at the condo, dinner in Ladie’s Condo.
2:00- Quiz Bowl Finals if applicable
6:40-be in ballroom, seated as a group ready for third general session
7:00- THIRD GENERAL SESSION
Installation of Blake as State President
Watch Blazer Boy Band sing her heart out and make us proud!
9:00-Dance or Free Time- MUST WEAR A GMC SHIRT TO ATTEND.

8:30-load up to depart from Myrtle Beach

Convention Do’s and Don’ts

Do have so much fun with your friends, make new friends, enjoy time in your awesome suite with your roommates! / Don’t ask your new and/or old friends into your awesome suite with your roommates. No blue in the pink, no pink in the blue. NO PURPLE!
Do explore the beach, the facility, etc. Do respect the grounds and the awesome suite that you have been graced with.Always let a chaperone know where you are going if you are not in your room. / Don’t go anywhere by yourself. Don’t forget to tell you chaperone where you are going at all times!
Do go to the socials/mixers and have so much fun. / Don’t be late to curfew. Don’t leave your room after we have checked your room. Don’t break the tape!
Do dress appropriately, respectfully, modestly, warmly, comfortably, sensibly. Do wear your Blake shirt on FRIDAY ALL DAY LONG! / Don’t forget your BLAKE FOR PRES shirt. Don’t forget a jacket, warm clothes. Don’t forget a GMC shirt (PREFERABLY YOUR WHITE BETA SHIRT)-you’ll need this for the dance. Don’t wear running shorts, yoga pants, etc to the dance.
Do treat your suite like it’s your own home. Be comfortable, be lazy, enjoy the space. / Don’t trash the space. Don’t be too loud. Don’t leave it a mess. Don’t take anything that you didn’t bring.
Do be on time. / Don’t be late!
