The buttons for “Make Booking” and “View Booking” are being moved to a more prominent position at the top of the search box.

My Recently Viewed Hotels

A new widget is to be added to Hotel Booker which will show on every page and will maintain a history of the last 3 hotel searches allowing the user to quickly click to the previously performed search.

Client Details in navigation bar

The “clients” button in the navigation bar will now show the selected clients name and if any actions exist they will show as a badge with the number of actions next to the client’s name. Upon clicking the badge, it will show a pop up with a breakdown of actions e.g. number of Open Enquiries.

Modification to booking views and sort filters

To view open bookings or recently booked the user will be able to click on the page title to select. The sorting options for each view will also be simplified, allowing the user to order the results easily by newest or oldest.

Suppress Faxes and Payment Restrictions for Expedia Pre-Pay

A configurable setting is to be added to Hotel Booker which when configured will allow faxes and payment restrictions to be supressed for Expedia Pre-Paid bookings.

Block Expedia Post Pay rate for overseas hotels

A configurable setting is to be added to Hotel Booker which when configured will block Expedia Post Pay rates for hotels outside of the UK.

Supress Rollback of Booked Rooms

A new configurable setting is to be added to Hotel Booker which when configured will supress the rollback of confirmed rooms on multi room bookings. On multi room bookings if any room fails to book the whole booking will go on request and all confirmed rooms will remain confirmed and failed bookings will show as requested.

Date of arrival and client name in the subject of on request emails

When a client user books an offline rate an on request email is generated and sent to an agent. The subject will now contain the clients name and date of arrival, which will allow agents to prioritise the bookings.

Warning message when adding travellers or contacts with non-unique emails

When adding a new contact or traveller via Hotel Booker if the email address provided is already in use a warning message will be displayed. This is to prevent duplicate profiles being created by mistake.

Rate Breakdown in client email confirmations

The rate breakdown per night for multiple night stays will be included in the email confirmation sent to clients.
