1. Description

The hot wire anemometer is a complex and delicate instrument,which make you a new step forward into the field of precision measurement. High precision and slim probe ensures higher proficiency of your measuring.

6.1. key;press “” key,turn on or turn off the meter. key;In measuring mode,press this button to switch temperature unit.

6.2.key;after power the meter on,keep pressing this button, until “UNIT” icon appears on LCD.(Refer picture 1),the meter enters into area setting,then press“”key to select area unit“ft2”or“㎡”. After choosing the unit. press “”key once, “AREA” icon will appear on LCD.(Refer picture 2),then input area values, the number can be 0.001~9999,press“”to increase the values,press“” to decrease the values. press “” to choose decimal places. After input the values,Press“”again, “SPL” icon will appear on LCD.(Refer picture 3),the meter enters into setting mode for auto power off and non auto power off.,now press“”key,it can choose ON(auto power off )or OFF(non auto power off),after choosing, long press “”key,the meter saves the new setting and exit setting mode.

6.3.key;when the meter is on,pressing this button can turn on or turn off backlight。

6.4.key; In measuring mode,pressing this button enters into average measuring mode。

6.5.key;In measuring mode,pressing this button to display MAX/MIN in turn.

6.6.key;In measuring mode,Pressing this button to freeze the readings on LCD display。

6.7.key;In measuring mode,press this button once to select desired units(air velocity units or air volume units), keep pressing this button for zeroing operation before measurement.

7. Operating instruction

7.1.Plug the probe into the socket(Note: battery and power adapter cannot be used at the same time)

7.2. Power on the meter to warm up the sensor

7.3. Select the desire air velocity units and temperature units

7.4. Zero setting:

a) Slide upward the sensor cover to the sensor position to make the air velocity sensor isolated from the environment.

b)When the digits is stable, keep pressing “Hold/Zero”key for 2 seconds, zero setting is finished after LCD showing four “0”.

7.5. Slide downward the sensor cover, let the air velocity sensor to touch the air, extent the telescope probe to suitable length.

7.6.Direction of the sensor: there is an arrow on the top of the “sensor head”, in measuring mode, the arrow point must bein same direction as the air flow, if meter operated in this way, then the upper display will show the air velocity value. The lower display will show the air temperature value.
