Where:Allegheny Valley YMCA, 5021 Freeport Road,Natrona Heights,PA 15065

Facility:6 lane, 25 yard pool with touch pads, timing and starting with manual backups. Hytek Meet Manager will be used and the meet will be available on the Meet Mobile App.

Spectator seating is available in pool.

Full size gym available for swimmers and families.

Time:9:00 AM

Warm-ups start at 7:00 AM. A warm-up schedule will be sent closer to the meet.

Age:Swimmers will compete based on their age onDecember 1, 2014.

Swimmers will be classified for results and awards as follows:

6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18

Deadline:The entry deadline is Wednesday, January 21, 2015. All entries and fees mustbe received by this date. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Entries:Swimmers may compete in 5 individual events, plus 2 relays. No time (NT) entries will not be accepted. If a swimmer does not have an actual time, an approximation may be submitted. The meet Director reserves the right to return entries in order to control the meet duration. The meet will be limited to the first 400 swimmers entered. An event list is attached.

"Open" events may be swum by any age. Events will still be scored by age groups as mentioned above.

Teams are strongly encouraged to submit entries electronically to . A Team Manager setup file may be found at the league website (invitational page for the current season). Electronic entries should include the TM zip file of entries, the TM word file of meet entries by name ( including relays) and the TM word file of meet entry fees. You will receive confirmation that your entries were received.

If electronic submission is not possible entries must be submitted with full first and last names, age, and birthdate of the swimmer(s). Any team entering more than 5 swimmers manually will pay a surcharge of $25 and more than 20 swimmers will be $50.

Entry Fee:$4.00/individual event, $16.00/relay. Send one check payable to the

“AVY Aquatic Club”, and a copy of the meet entry fees report from TM to:

Time Trials will be held after the meet for any swimmer(s). Entries are unlimited and there is a $10 fee per event on a prepaid basis only.

Seeding: This is a pre-seeded meet. All events are times finals and will be seeded slowest to fastest regardless of sex or age of the swimmer. Swimmers will be seeded in the main gym.

Rules:Current USS/YMCA Swimming rules will govern this meet. Any inquiries must be made by the head coach and directed to the Meet Referee. Video tapes will not

be accepted as grounds for any protest. ONLY coaches,swimmers,and meet personnel will be permitted on deck. Swimmers and coaches are asked to refrain from standing in front of the timing/scoring table.

Scoring:Individual Events: 16-13-12-11-10-9-7-5-4-3-2-1

Awards:1st - 6th Medals (all age groups), 7th - 12th Ribbons (12 & under),

Heat Ribbons will be given to all heat winners.

High Point: 1st - 3rd Trophies (all age groups)

4th - 6th Trophies (12 & under)

Team High Point: 1st - 3rd Trophies (host team excluded)

Conduct:Parents and coaches are responsible for the conduct of their

swimmers throughout the building. The Meet Committee reserves the right to

eject any individual for rules violations and/or inappropriate behavior. For the

safety of all attendees, throwing of balls or other objects in the gymnasium is

strictly prohibited. Swimmers are not permitted to have their swim gear in the pool area stands. All swimmers will be in the gym. Spectators are asked to remain in the gym with your swimmer between events and to promptly move from the pool bleachers after your swimmer has completed and event.

Concession:Breakfast and Lunch Refreshments will be available at the event site

provided by the Allegheny Valley YMCA Swim Team Parents. We request that no

food be taken into the pool area.

Swim Gear:Swimmers Network and Tina the Airbrush Artist will beon site for all of your swimming needs.

Parking:Parking is available in the Allegheny Valley YMCA lots and also in the

VFW lot next to the YMCA.
