~Giving back....one "scent" at a time~
Helping others was the one thing I remember most about my Grandparents....when someone is in need, you just help! There are so many wonderful causes that need help and we'd love to be a part of yours.
There are two ways to do fundraisers and we've broken it down below:
Choice one: (And the most popular with fundraisers…about 90% of fundraisers choose this option)
One scent, one jar size, and best of all the scent is yours (we'll even market as yours in our store and your fundraiser will make money) *cannot be a scent already in our current line~ask for details.
Choice two:
Anything goes! Any sizes, any scents (in our current list)
With either choice our preference is to give you a "sample" set of candles so that you can show everyone exactly what they'll be getting. We'll give you order forms to collect orders. Money is due at the time of placing order, UNLESS arranged otherwise. Once all orders and money are collected, then they can be turned over to us for orders to be filled. Our average turn around time for delivery is 2 weeks.
How much will my organizationmake:
It averages out to be 33-35% of your total that is earned by your charity! Ask about this detail, each organization can set its candle prices. We will help you do this!

A little bit about us......
Hoosier Candle Company was created after years of selling other brands of candles in our brick and mortar store, Walnut Street Traditions. We knew that there was a science to candle making, and so the journey began. It's a recipe composed of memories, determination, with a dash of science of course!
What's in a name?
Well, for us, everything! The little girl that serves as our "poster child" is actually my mom at age three, in my Grandpa Harold's field. There is a TRUE history here. We are not just "another" candle company, there's more meaning for us. The Hoosier Candle Company it's about supporting American farmers, it's about promoting MADE IN THE USA, especially Indiana, and most importantly, it's about telling a story of how hard Grandpa Harold worked to support his family, to share his work ethic, as he passed it from generation to generation. Memories go into each and every candle, and a sense of pride, because that is how Grandpa Harold taught us!

Earn money for your organization with three easy steps...it's that easy!
STEP ONE-Collect orders
Your organization will be provided with an information packet, order formsand scent samples of the candles. Your participants will then take their orders on the order forms provided and collect the money when they take the orders. Checks should be made payable to your organization. Participants then will need to turn orders in and all the funds to the fundraising director.
STEP TWO-Submit orders and payment
Orders can remain on the original order forms (at the present time we do not have duplicate forms so if you choose you may make a copy for your own records) Arrangements can be made for us to pick up order forms and payments (or if you choose, they can be dropped off to294 Market Street in Dayton IN)
Remember to deduct the organizations portion before writing the final check to Hoosier Candle Company.
STEP THREE-Deliver Candles
Candles are then delivered within 2-3 weeks. For your convenience all candles are neatly wrapped in color coordinated tissue to make sorting easy. Upon request we can organize in other manners.
