Horsecamp is for children, ages 6-14, who love and want to learn more about horses. Each student will receive one-on-one instruction on everything from catching and leading their horse, to handling, grooming and saddling, basic riding, and much more!Space is limited so register now!

  • Closed toes shoes (Sneakers are okay, boots are preferred, NO SANDELS!)

  • Jeans (children will have a chance to change into jeans before riding)

  • Riding helmet (if you do not have one, one will be provided. Bike helmets are NOT acceptable)

WAIVER OF CLAIM ** The section below must be reviewed, accepted, and signed by parent or guardian of camper before registration can be accepted.

Rules of participation in the program are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, or disability. It is understood that all campers will be treated as individuals and respect shown for normal differences in taste, preferences, abilities, and a range of behavior patterns.

I give permission to Hoof Beats Stable to use photos/videos/likeness of my child for the purpose of promotion, website, and publications.

Horseback riding and Instruction: Hoof Beats Stable horses are carefully chosen for soundness and appropriate temperament. Even so, each participant who engages in an equine activity expressly assumes the risk of engaging in and the legal responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to person or property resulting from the risk of equine activities. I acknowledge and understand that participation of an equine activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to (1) the propensity of an equine to behave in dangerous ways that may result in injury to the participant; (2) the inability to predict an equine’s reaction to sound, movement, objects, persons, or animals: and (3) the hazards of surfaces or subsurface conditions. Notwithstanding this knowledge and awareness, I assume all risks of my minor child/ward’s participation in equine activities and legal responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to person or property resulting in the risk of such activities.

Registration deposit, refunds, early departures, insurance, and special circumstances: I understand a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per child, per session is required with registration. Account balances are due upon child’s arrival to camp.

Hoof Beats Stable is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

I understand if there is any existing custodial situation regarding guardianship of the child registered, Hoof Beats Stable will only communicate with the parent/guardian who has registered the child and who’s signature appears on the registration form, unless advised otherwise. Additionally, Hoof Beats Stable will not release any information to anyone who inquires about the registered child.

Medical care: I give permission to Hoof Beats Stable to administer routine medical care. In the event of an emergency requiring advanced care, I understand every attempt will be made to contact parent/guardian. In the event that the parent/guardian cannot be reached, I give Hoof Beats Stable permission to secure proper medical treatment, hospitalize, and to order injection, anesthesia or surgery for my child as named above. I understand that any medical expense be billed directly to me or my provided insurance information. I also give Hoof Beats Stable permission to transport my child off the property by vehicle for purpose of medical care.

Parental approval: I approve this application and certify that my child is in good health.

Acknowledge of waiver terms: for value received, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge, I, on behalf of myself and my child/ward

**Upon arrival to Hoof Beats please bring with you a copy of the child’s insurance card final payment.

IF WE DO NOT HAVE A COPY OF THEIR INSURANCE CARD THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAY.

Directions: Please note using GPS/Mapquest will not work. Please get directions from where ever you are to The University of Southern Indiana (University Parkway).

-From 62 (Lloyd Expressway) head north on the parkway. Turn left at Hogue rd. After railroad tracks, veer left onto Creamery Rd. At the 1ststop sign turn left onto Posey County Line Rd. At the First gravel driveway (black mailbox marked with ‘330’), turn left. 3rd house on the right, can’t miss it!

-From 66 (diamond Ave.) Turn south onto University Parkway. Turn Right at Hogue Rd. After railroad tracks, veer left onto Creamery Rd. At stop sign turn left onto Posey County Line Rd. At the First gravel driveway (black mailbox marked ‘330’), turn left. 3rd house on the right; can’t miss it!
