Grades, Homework, and Tests

Grades are based on the total pointsaccumulated each quarter. Grades include tests, labs, homework, and quizzes. Assignments must be turned in on time to receive full credit. Assignments will not be returned to the students until the papers are graded. Some assignments will not be accepted after the due date while others can be submitted the next day of classfor half credit. When a student misses chemistry, the assignment is due the next class. Students are responsible for finding out what was done in class when absent.

Students must complete all tests during the class time given. Students are to answer each question on midterm exams. Semester grades will be based on the two nine-week grades (40% each) and the final exam (20%).
