Honduras 2012 Mission Trip – Meeting #1
These trips are for teens and adults interested in spreading God’s Word and His love to the needy people in Colonies Gonzales & Ocotillo, San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Must be flexible, willing to adhere to Lifeline Christian Mission guidelines, and have a heart open to God’s leading. A parent must accompany any minor under the age of 16.
What will be expected of you before we leave:
A. Sponsor Collection: Remember that YOU are a missionary! It is your job to educate and involve as many people as possible in the work of the mission!
B. Attendance at two meetings. (April 1st @ 1:30pm, July 1st @ 1:30pm) @ Min Ctr
C. Your help with:
1. Collecting items needed for the mission
2. Preparation for VBS, Bible studies, and church participation in the field
3. Packing & Preparation for shipments
Cost will be $1,800 per person:
A. Includes travel, lodging, food, team T-shirt, and construction supplies
B. Trip – July 9-18 (leave midnight on July 8th)
C. Is tax deductible (make payable to Journey Christian Church;
NOTE: write “Honduras 2012” in memo, but not your name)

To Get Started:
A. Fill out the Mission Team Information Sheet
B. Read through Lifeline rules.
C. Apply for passport at Tracy Post Office – Need application, official birth certificate, passport pictures, and check or money order for processing. (See http://travel.state.us/ for more details.)
D. Minors not accompanied by a parent need to also turn in a signed, notarized parental authorization to travel out of the continental U.S.
