Home School Board Profiles

Stephanie Russo

My husband, Steve, and I have been members of St. Dorothy Parish for 11 years. Our children, Paige and Laine, are currently in 6th and 3rd grade, respectively. I have volunteered in various capacities for the school and parish, including Homeroom Mom, Christmas Bazaar, Breakfast with Santa (co-chair for two years), New Family Welcome, the Oktoberfest, and more.

Thank you for considering me for this important position. I hope the opportunity to serve you and your children on the St. Dorothy Home & School Board. I look forward to being able to continue the great work done and momentum from the current board members.

Michelle Wolf

My Name is Michelle Wolf and I am interested in being on the St. Dorothy Home and School Board. My husband, Dennis and I have been in the parish for 11 years. We have three children that attend the school, Lucy will be in 6th grade, Samantha will be in 3rd grade and Reese will be in 1st grade next year. Last fall was my first season coaching the JV Volleyball team, and I am already looking forward to my second season next fall. I am currently employed as an Accounting Manager at Maiden Reinsurance. While I work full time, I try to help out at school as much as I can. I think I would be a great addition to the board over the next two years.

Paula Kohler

I have been a member of St Dorothy Parish for over 15 years. Bill and I have been married for almost 20 years. We have 3 children Shannon class of 2015 and presently a sophomore at Merion Mercy Academy, Danny a 7th grader at Haverford Middle School and Meghan a 3rd grader here at St Dorothy. I work full time at a cardiology practice in Broomall.

Jen Davis

Hi, I’m Jen Davis. There are two of us at Dots, so when you see us on the SignUp Genius, you never know who will show up. My husband, Matt, and I have two boys and live in Springfield. Patrick is in second grade. Kieran is in kindergarten. I’m pretty much a full-time kindergarten volunteer this year. I will most definitely miss kindergarten, but truth be told, I am looking to spend a little more time above ground and out of the annex. Unfortunately for my kids, I am a bit of a helicopter mom and spend too much of my time keeping tabs on them. But, I think their misfortune could make me a good choice for the Home and School Board. Matt and I spent a lot of time considering our options before selecting Dots. It was the sense of community and the enthusiasm of so many of the parents that helped us decide. We have many years of grade school ahead of us. I want to help the school continue to grow and thrive, making Dots a clear choice for families for years to come.

Lidia Hall

Hello, my name is Lidia Hall and I am a new parishioner to St. Dorothy’s. My daughter Arianna is attending the 6th grade and I am grateful for the welcoming that we have received from both the teachers and parents. Although we are new to the parish, my family (husband Gerald, son Michael) and I have lived in Havertown for over 18 years. We were part of the St. Bernadette parish prior to this year and still have great friends there and participate in their events as well. During the time I was at St. Bernadette’s I served on their Home and School board for two years. I would love an opportunity to share some of those experiences and provide input to the St. Dot’s Home and School board coming in with ideas as a new member to the parish.
