HOLY GHOST SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2012 - 2013
PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME
MRS. GINA’S PRE-SCHOOL (3 & 4 Year Old)
Backpack (has to be able to hold 8 ½” x 11” papers)
2 Folders
1 School box to hold supplies (crayons, scissors, and glue sticks)
1 Box of 16 or 24 crayons (Crayola are Truer to color and usually on sale for $0.25 in August)
1 Water paints (Crayola or Prang work the best and last longer. They are usually on sale in August for $1.00 - $2.00)
6 glue sticks They are usually on sale in August)
1 Scissors (Fiskars is a very good brand of Childs scissors)
2 boxes of Kleenex
2 rolls of paper towels
2 packages of wet wipes
2 packages of disinfectant wipes
1 Paint shirt (one of Dad’s old T-shirts work great)
1 change of clothes kept in backpack (Accidents do happen)
Please be sure to write their name in all supplies. A reminder note will go home as we run low on supplies
MRS. MCDOWALL’S ALL-DAY PRE-K
Backpack/School Bag (labeled with name) Please make sure that the backpack is large/tall enough to hold a folder (without bending the top down),
A blanket (for Rest Time) and a change of clothes.
A complete change of clothes (shirt, pants, undies & socks) inside a large Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name. Restroom accidents aren’t the only ones that happen…spills, falls, etc. can require a change of clothes. These clothes do not need to be “uniform”, just something clean to change into.
(2) boxes of crayons PER SEMESTER (Preferably LARGE to make it easier for little hands to hold and preferably CRAYOLA because their colors are the “best match” to the basic colors we will learn).
(1) pair of school scissors (please, no pointed tips)
(6) glue sticks and (1) 4 oz bottle of glue for Art Class
(1) box of basic watercolor paints (these will get messy, so cheaper & fewer colors is best)
(1) paint smock or old t-shirt (large enough for your child to put on/off over their uniform)
(1) plastic school box (labeled with name)
(2) 2-pocket folders (labeled with name on front)
(3) largeboxes of tissues
(2) large packs of cheap baby wipes
(1) large container of hand sanitizer

P.E. CLASS
CLEAN PAIR OF TENNIS SHOES – FOR ALL GRADES
T-Shirt and Shorts or Sweat Pants for Grades 3 – 8 ONLY to change into for P.E. They need to be put into a draw string bag that has been marked with their name and grade. Please mark all items with your Child’s name and grade. NO PLATFORM TENNIS SHOES !!!!!!!!!!!
Please make sure shoes will stay on their feet when they run. Tennis shoes with TIED shoes lacesare preferred.

DUE TO THE LARGE AMOUNT OF COPYING THE SCHOOL DOES THE REAMS OF PAPER ARE FOR THE OFFICE TO USE TO SEND HOME NOTES/MENUS ETC.
THE ROLLS OF MASKING TAPE, BOXES OF PAPER CLIPS AND BOXES OF BAND-AIDS ARE SHARED WITH ALL OF THE CLASSES IN THE BUILDINGS.
