This puppy is guaranteed to be free of Genetic Hip Dysplasia until the dog is 12 months of age, and will pass the following certifications: Preliminary OFA or “A” stamp.

It is required that the dog be x-rayed and have a preliminary consultation by the OFA before the age of one (1) year. It is required that the buyer presents a copy of all official hip certifications or preliminary consultations to the seller for documentation purposes. If the above stated puppy is by preliminary documented and deemed dysplastic by the OFA, or German “a” stamp registering veterinarians:

The buyer may request a replacement puppy only if all paperwork (i.e. registration documents and official documents verifying hip dysplasia from the registering group (OFA, and “a” stamp)) is presented to the breeder. This replacement puppy will be chosen by the breeder and will be of the same quality and pedigree. Original puppy must be returned to the breeder unless both owner and breeder are in agreement that the dog should remain with the owner. We don’t want to take a dog that you want to keep.

If the puppy or dogs is unable to preliminary certify by the OFA or “A” stamp program due to subluxation of the hip joint, it is required that the dog be put on an appropriate exercise program to strengthen the ligaments, tendons and muscles of the hip joint.

The breeder will only guarantee Genetic Hip Dysplasia (GHD). GHD will show up in the pup before the age of one (1) year. Later development of HD is not guaranteed, as this is often environmentally produced. Young dogs or pups involved in fast running, exercise on hard, unyielding surfaces, climbing flights of stairs, jumping over and up on to things, can develop HD. Poor nutrition, obesity, accident, neglect, and abuse are also other causes of HD. Any evidence of the above stated conditions will nullify the hip guarantee.

This dog is free from any communicable diseases known to seller; this does not include giardia, coccydia or other internal parasites which may be in the grounds of various places.
