Hollis Brookline Rotary Club

College Scholarship Application

The Hollis Brookline Rotary Club is a component of Rotary International, which has over 1,200,000 members worldwide. Rotarians everywhere play a role in delivering a diverse array of humanitarian and community services locally, regionally, and around the globe. Each local Club participates in all of these endeavors, and most give high priority to helping to meet needs within its own community.

Description of Scholarship: As part of our dedication to excellence in education, the Hollis Brookline Rotary Club has available up to five $1000.00 scholarships, offered on a competitive basis to Hollis Brookline High School seniors.

  • Up to four scholarships of $1000 are available to Hollis Brookline High School seniors who plan to further their education at an accredited four-year college or university. Home schooled seniors who are residents of Hollis or Brookline are also eligible to apply for the student scholarships.
  • One scholarship of $1000 is reserved for a Hollis Brookline High School senior who plans to further his or her education at an accredited vocational institution.

Applicants must be Hollis or Brookline residents to qualify for this scholarship. Scholastic achievement is only one of the criteria that will be considered; we seek students who also display excellence in leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, and/or personal achievement. Scholarships will be awarded during the high school graduation ceremony and will be paid directly to the institution, usually in September, after the student has registered.

Application Deadline: Wednesday, April 25th, 2012
