The following list of resources is for families in need of holiday activities, food, financial, or gift-giving support for the holidays. It also includes opportunities to assist other families through your generous donations. This list does not include every possible resource; we encourage you to call the agency to confirm that the service is still available. --Hours of Operation: Dec. 11th-20th excluding Sundays from 10am-2:30pm.

--Every adult needs to bring picture identification for all individuals 18 years and older and proof of residence (may include recent utility bill with current address or rent receipt). Social Security cards will not be accepted as valid ID. Medical coupons or a letter from a school or service organization with the name of the children at the same address will provide proof that children live at the adult’s address. To apply for services you will need: Picture ID for all adults 18 and over (i.e. Drivers License, Tribal ID). If any minor children are living in the household: Proof of children (i.e. medical coupon, social security card). Proof of current address for all adults (i.e. Avista bill, phone bill). Please use entrance off of Lidgerwood and Indiana Avenue. Disabled parking is available in the lot off of Lidgerwood Street. Helps with food and housing.

This is a special store for kids ages 4-12 to buy things for their families ranging from $0.50 to $8.00. All proceeds go to support the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. They offer utility assistance (water, lights, electricity, firewood etc.) on minor bills (rent, food). Come to their office and fill out a benevolence request. They also provide assistance to the elderly, single parents, and anyone in need of extra assistance in way of home repair, snow shoveling, etc. Give them a call for additional information. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 9am – 4:30pm

For the holiday season, the food and clothing bank will be open Nov. 15th & Dec. 20th 9am-12pm. During the non-holiday season, they are open every 3rdSaturday of the month, 9am-12pm, except summer months (May – September) they are open 9am to 1pm. Call ahead to schedule for emergency boxes. Meal services are provided every day. Lunch is available from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm and dinner is available everyday 5:30pm to 6pm. Doors open at 5:45pm.

Thanksgiving Dinner offered at the Convention Center: Wednesday Nov. 26th – 4pm-6pm. Doors open at 3:40pm. Call for free tickets and dinner times. This is a drug/alcohol free environment. Everyone is welcome. Christmas schedule is to be determined, call for further information.
