Hockey Coaches and Head Coach

Do you have a passion for hockey and wish to be a role model for students?

Have you played competitive hockey and enjoy understanding the rules of the game?

The College is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Head Coach and Coaches for our 2018 Hockey Season. We require coaches from Mid-March through to Mid-September, which will include coaching Teams in the Eastern Districts Women’s Hockey Association Schoolgirls Competition (EDWHA) in Term 2 and the Independent Girls School Sporting Association (IGSSA) in Term 3, in 2018.

All Hockey coaches will be required to attend the following:

·  Attending Pre-Season Training and Grading Sessions

·  2 training sessions during the week of 1.5 hours duration including warm up and warm down plus a Saturday morning commitment for 2 hours, which will include warm up, game and warm down.

The employment conditions are under the Educational Services General Staff Award and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All coaches are required to have the following documentation to be eligible to undertake this role at Santa Sabina:

·  ASC Community Coaching General Principles (mandatory)

·  Minimum Level 1 or higher Hockey Accreditation (desirable)

·  Minimum Level 2 is essential for Head Coach

·  Working With Children Check (mandatory)

·  Senior First Aid/CPR (mandatory)
