Location: Knapp Elementary School

Course: The race begins and ends at KnappElementary School.
Runners, run/walkers, walkers and strollers are welcome.

Manna on Main Street in Lansdale is in need of food donations. Their supplies are low and you can help. Place any non perishable items in the basket in Hayes Hall. Is your garden overflowing? Produce and other perishables are also welcome and can be dropped at Manna (713 W. Main St, Lansdale) or call Amanda Gale (610-390-1801) to schedule a pick-up.

Upcoming Worship Events
Sunday, Sept. 8 – SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY at 9:15 in Hayes Hall.
Worship will be held at 8:15 and 11:00 am that morning.
Sunday, Sept. 15 – We begin our Fall Worship schedule with 3 services at 8;15, 9:30 and 11:00 am. Reception of New Members at the 11:00 amservice.
We welcome the return of the choir at the 11:00 service!
Sunday, Sept. 22 - We welcome more new members at the 11:00 am service. A Missions Brunch will be in Hayes Hall from 9-12:30pm.
Sunday, Oct. 6 - Communion will be served at all services. Blessing of the Animals at 4pm.
Sunday, Oct . 13 - Heritage Sunday – We will hold a 3 in 1 service at 10am Honoring local Firefighters. A class on "Spiritual Formation" will be held following the service in the SS bldg.
Sunday, Oct. 20 -Laity Sunday! A New Member Dinner will be held at 5pm in Hayes Hall.
The Communion Offering collected on September 1st will support the Hospitality Committee. The offerings collected on the first Sunday of each month provide all members a chance to direct contributions to a group or mission that they may feel called to help. These offerings are intended to be donations above any amount pledged. Please use the envelope found in your bulletin. Thank you for your support.
Liturgist Training – Anyone interested in participating in worship as a liturgist? Now is your chance. Pastor John is holding a class on Wednesday, August 28 at 7:30pm. Please contact the church office to sign up to attend the training.
TRUSTEES ANNOUNCEMENT:Monday, September 23, @ 7pm. The Trustees invite members who use hearing aids to attend a demonstration in our sanctuary of a Loop Hearing System. Contact Alan Silfies for more information.
Attention Scrapbookers! New and seasoned. A Scrapbook Crop will be held on Saturday, September 7 from 10am-6pm in Hayes Hall. Cost is $10 per table, please prepay to reserve your table. Leave check in cross box in narthex. Make checks payable to Betty Locco. Bring your projects, supplies and PHOTOS! Scrapbook ALL DAY!!! UNINTERUPTED!! Betty Locco from Close To My Heart will be here with supplies for sale and free advice and ideas! If you are new to scrapbooking, this is the perfect opportunity to learn how to create memory books that will last a lifetime. Watch for sign up in the narthex or contact the church office to reserve a space at 610-584-5936. Come when you can or leave when you must. Bring a bag lunch, beverages provided.
All YOUTH in grades 6-10 are welcome to join our Sunday Evening in a “Wild Goose Chase”. Sunday evening, September 8, 5:00-7:00 pm. Dinner is served…guess what’s on the menu (no, not goose, silly) This is an event you won’t want to miss. Bring Friends, they won’t want to miss it either.
